My Manifesto — Introduction and Scope Topics — Updated 2017/06/20

My name is James Gordon Short Jr., known by my friends and family as "James" or "Jim." I am represented here by my initials "JS" in the front of my JSReliability.com manifesto title and website domain name. This is my means of asserting my leadership position in my  Personal and Professional Manifesto which is summarized by the subtitle and motto, "Improve Future Project Performance Results."

According to Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manifesto)

manifesto is a published verbal declaration of the intentions, motives, or views of the issuer, be it an individual, group, political party or government.[1][2][3][4] A manifesto usually accepts a previously published opinion or public consensus or promotes a new idea with prescriptive notions for carrying out changes the author believes should be made. It often is political or artisticin nature, but may present an individual's life stance. Manifestos relating to religious belief are generally referred to as creeds.

I am writing and publishing this JSReliability.com website as my Personal and Professional Manifesto now because I have reached a point in my life and career where I wish to analyze and evaluate some of the personal and professional project performance results data I have observed and experienced in an effort to seek lessons learned and to make and plan project changes and improvements for future  project performance results while there may be time and resources available to share the benefits.

I am also writing and publishing this as a Manifesto now to attract individuals and/or groups of individuals who may be interested in exploring and possibly applying my JSReliability.com Manifesto methodology to analyze and resolve new project performance improvement results problems.

This is JSReliability.com, a new website to help "Improve Future Project Performance Results" by utilizing standard Reliability Engineering principles applied in innovative ways for myself and for visitors. This is the "HOME Page," created as the main entry for this site.

I am  James G Short Jr. and people who know me may refer to me as "Jim Short" or "JS."  I am the editor and the webmaster for JSReliability.com, and it will be my pleasure to guide and introduce interested visitors through the various features of this website as they become available and presentable.

Website visitors and guests

For many product and system project teams with which I have participated, this reflects the concept that a product or system design should not be more complicated than necessary to accomplish its mission safely, be manufacturable and maintainable and sustainable and yet affordable.

People who know me and may have worked with me before may call me "Jim Short" or "Jim." I am `represented here by the initials JS standing in front of the JSReliability.com domain name. Please come along with me to explore the features of this website as I continue to develop it as an interface between you, visitors seeking new ways to solve long standing problems, and the  methods, tools, and philosophies I am seeking to use to pay it forward to future teams. I expect to see some new learning and accomplishments and that this can help make this world a cleaner, more productive, more enjoyable, more sustainable, and safer  place to live. I really do believe this is possible.

Best Regards,

JS
